What’s good everyone?

It’s been a good long while since I’ve last posted a written update on this site, I know. I’m still unsure how often I will be using it going forward as far as stream related updates go; however I have considered starting some gaming related editorial pieces, but may end up just saving those for a different content outlet. Anyways, today I wanted give a bit of an update regarding some upcoming stream “happenings” throughout this Summer, as well as some other things that will finally be resuming. Please note that the dates for things posted are subject to change. My schedule is now more packed and sporadic than it’s been in a very long time, so things may need to shift here and there; but I’ll be sure to post updates in the Discord when these things occur.

June 7th – “ROAD TO BANANZA”

Donkey Kong BANAZA is one of the more bigger single player titles by Nintendo that has caught my interest. Normally I don’t make a huge deal about rushing to play new single player games; but some of you may know how long I’ve expressed my wanting for a new 3D DK game after the many rehashed, and unwanted 2D ports and slop they’ve released over the years whilst avoiding making a new 3D game. Now a new 3D game is finally on the horizon, I’ve decided to make a big deal out of it and commit to playing through ALL of the mainline Donkey Kong games (remakes and remasters will be played over the originals…for the most part). I will be starting this journey later tonight with “Donkey Kong” on the Gameboy, and will continue onwards finishing each title hopefully by the time BANAZA drops or shortly after. But then again, this game is fucking $80, and I’m in no real rush to spend that amount of money. All you need to know is I’ll be chipping my way through DK games at least every other stream or so.

June 15th – “Summer of WoW” begins..

Oh, how I know ya’ll have been waiting for this one (kekw). That’s right, frequent WoW streams are FINALLY coming this month! I really lost my way with the game late last year after streaming through the latest Retail WoW expansion. While I’d love to get back into learning retail and making my way towards comfortably doing group and end-game content; the reality is that game is HARD if you haven’t been an avid player over the years. With that said, “Summer of WoW’ will primarily be a fresh adventure through Classic VANILLA WoW via the newly released Anniversary servers from this past November, which will be eventually progressing into The Burning Crusade expansion, sometime early next year. The 1-60 vanilla WoW journey is a long one, so I’m expecting this to drag on for quite a bit., maybe even into the early autumn if I don’t put in as much time as I’m aiming to. I am looking at the possibility of using this venture to start the WoW guild I initially wanted to do, despite that idea originally being for Season of Discovery. So if you ever wanted to play WoW with me in an even playing field sort of environment, now would be the time.

June 29th – July 6th – “BOOTCAMP!: MTG EDITION!”

Please stop asking me now. Magic Arena streams will finally start during this first ever “BOOTCAMP!” saga. During this period, I will be learning/streaming nothing but Magic :The Gathering Arena for an entire week. Don’t get this twisted with a streamathon. It isn’t one. But instead, I’ll be dedicated all my streams for an entire week to nothing but Magic Arena. Originally, I wanted the first ever “BOOTCAMP!” saga to be for League of Legends. I’m still on the fence as far as whether or not I still want to do that, but there are a few others I’d like to try and squeeze into my schedule before the Summer is over. They will be added to the list once I’ve decided on a solid date, but expect sometime in August for at least the second “BOOTCAMP!” week.

July (exact dates TBA) – COMMUNITY NIGHT COMEBACK!

Alright, I’m going to spin the fucking wheel on this one. I did this awhile back during the GGFAM server days, and honestly, it was pretty much a miss; but since some people have brought it up again recently, I’ve decided to give it another go. Community Nights will be pretty much the same, cliche Community Nights most streamers put together for their audience. I’ll have a poll up for ya’ll to vote for a game we can all play during the week prior, and sometime (probably Saturdays), and the following week will host the community night for that given game. Community Night will probably be a few hours, don’t want to make it a huge thing at first. I originally wanted to kick these off again with the Switch 2 launch seeing as MK World would be a great community night game, but since almost no one else in the server picked up a Switch 2, I’ve decided to delay it a bit, into July. Until then, definitely let me know which games you guys would like to have featured during these nights, and I’ll add some good picks into a poll for everyone to vote on.

July (exact dates TBA) – PHTM Tournaments Resume

It’s been almost a few years at this point since the last series of online tournaments I hosted took place, and I’m finally in a position to say that I’m ready to resume hosting again. While not exactly “stream content”, tournaments that feature games that are eligible to be properly spectated/streamed, will definitely be. I’ll be in the process, soon, of getting graphics/branding done for this upcoming season of tournaments and the official line-up, so expect a formal, dedicated announcement for all of that soon; but as of now, sometime before the end of July things will kick off.

July 20th-July 27th – Summer Streamathon 2025

The next streamathon is set in stone! As mentioned before, I’m making a new minor adjustments this time around with this one. First off, 100hrs will be the HARD CAP for the timer. Meaning you cannot add hours to the timer beyond 100hrs. In addition to this, every 10hours below that will also act as a “soft cap”. For example, if timer reaches 81hrs, you your subs can only contribute to the timer reaching 90hrs. Every 10 hours is a checkpoint, and subs will not push the timer beyond that checkpoint. As far as other changes go, I will be doing “some” scheduled content for this streamathon, so it won’t be an all out “do whatever” show like the last one. I will still likely be working throughout the week this takes place, however, outside of that, I’ve made plans to be sure I’ll be around to minimize AFK time. An official announcement for this along with the scheduled content will be posted as we get closer to the 20th of July.

Moving forward with playthroughs…

So, I’m at that point where I feel like I’ve spent enough time putting off my current playthroughs. It’s important to note that ALL of the games I have started throughout the years, are still on the list and will be prioritized before I begin a “handful” of new games/franchises. For those who care to get a better idea on what I’m current playing and what I plan on continuing to once certain games are done; here is a probably shitty outline of my current games on the list, their status, when they’ll be resumed, and what game will follow once they’re completed.

  • Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings (Resuming week of June 9th)  – Game to follow completion —–> Earthbound/Mother 2
  • Final Fantasy II (Resuming week of June 16th) – Game to follow completion —-> Final Fantasy III
  • Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (Resuming week of June 23rd) – Game to follow completion —-> Super Mario RPG Remaster
  • Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (Resuming week of July 7th) – Game to follow completion —–> Fire Emblem:: Mystery of the Emblem (Remake)
  • Legend of Zelda Series (On Hiatus. Resuming with Minish Cap the week of July 14th)
  • Shenmue III (On hiatus. Resuming during Summer Streamathon. – Game to follow completion —–> Yakuza 0
  • Demons Souls (On hiatus. Resuming during special TBA stream even.)
  • Dragon Quest III HD 2D Remake (On hiatus. Resuming August 2025). Game to follow completion —> Dragon Quest II HD 2D Remake
  • Dragon Quest XI (On hiatus. Resuming November 2025)
  • Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII (On hiatus. Resuming with NEW GAME+ November 2025).

So there you have it. If you’re wondering why there’s so much time in between resuming certain games, it’s mostly because I feel like I need to get momentum going with each individual title before I switch gears. This also gives me time to catch up with one game a decent amount throughout a given week, before having to spend time on another. My stream hours are less than what they were, at least for now, so focusing on starting on resuming one game at a time, at least a week at a time – is probably in my best interest.

And that’s pretty much everything for this update! Like I said, there are some other things that I’d like to squeeze in before the end of the Summer, but I’ll announce those as things progress a bit. As always, thank you for your energy, and I’ll see you all on stream.

~ Peace
